PRESBHD: UniMy 大学成立了

几个月前EMAIL过去询问关于大学设立的事宜, 他们IR部门回函表示将在31/1/13有所宣布和办个开幕典礼. 开幕典礼有没有弄我不知道啦, 网上都看不到消息, 不过大学确实确认成立了, 以下是我看到的公告:

INTRODUCTION The Board of Directors of Prestariang is pleased to announce the following:- (a) Prestariang Education Sdn Bhd (“PESB”), its wholly-owned subsidiary, had on 31 January 2013 entered into Collaboration Agreements (“the Agreements”) with each of the following entities:- (i) IBM Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“IBM”); (ii) Microsoft (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (“Microsoft”); (iii) Dell Sales Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Dell”); and (iv) International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (“EC Council”). (b) Universiti Malaysia of Computer Science And Engineering” (“UniMy”), a tertiary education facility established under PESB had on 31 January 2013 entered into Memorandums of Understanding (“MOUs”) with each of the following entities:- (i) University of Melbourne (Melbourne School of Engineering) (“UMSSE”); (ii) Huawei Sdn. Bhd. (“Huawei”); (iii) Autodesk Asia Pte. Ltd. (“Autodesk”); (iv) Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (“MDeC”); (v) Kumpulan Modal Perdana Sdn. Bhd. (“KMP”); and (vi) NanoMalaysia Berhad (“NanoMalaysia”). (UMSSE shall hereinafter referred to as the “Academic Partner” and IBM, Microsoft, Dell, EC Council, Huawei, Autodesk, MDeC, KMP and NanoMalaysia shall collectively be referred to as “Industry Partners”). OBJECTIVE OF COLLABORATIONS The objectives of the Agreements and the MOUs entered between the parties are, inter alia, for the following purposes:- (a) to support UniMy’s aspiration to develop a tertiary education facility focusing on computer science and engineering. The collaboration with the Academic Partner and Industry Partners envisages UniMy implementing under-graduate and graduate programmes modelled along the lines of the prestigious computer science and engineering industries coupled with industry inputs; and (b) the collaboration with the Academic Partner and Industry Partners is expected to bring mutual benefits to the parties of the Agreements and MOUs. FINANCIAL EFFECTS The Agreements and MOUs are part of the future plan of Prestariang to improve and benchmark its standard which would bring the effect of contributing positively to the future earnings, net assets per share and gearing of Prestariang Group. Such collaborations will not have any effect on the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholding of Prestariang. DIRECTORS’ AND/OR SUBSTANTIAL SHAREHOLDERS’ INTEREST None of the Directors and/or substantial shareholders or any person connected to the Directors and/or substantial shareholders of Prestariang has any interest, either direct or indirect in the Agreements and MOUs. DIRECTORS’ STATEMENT The Board of Directors of Prestariang is of the opinion that the Agreements and MOUs are in the ordinary course of business and of the best interest of Prestariang Group. The anouncement is dated 31 January 2013.

粗略来看, 是说建立大学的事宜已经确定了, 并且和各大教育伙伴还有工业伙伴签署了备忘录. University of Melbourne (Melbourne School of Engineering) (“UMSSE”)将是他们的教育伙伴; IBM, Microsoft, Dell, EC Council, Huawei, Autodesk, MDeC, KMP and NanoMalaysia则是他们的工业伙伴.  然后我继续看新闻, 看到了下面这个:

（吉隆坡31日訊）柏斯達亮（PRESBHD，5204，主要板貿易）預計，新的大學在2016年將可貢獻集團營業額高達40%。

　柏斯達亮總執行長阿布哈山博士指出：“馬大資訊工程（UniMy）預計將可貢獻公司營業額，我向來都相信有素質的教育將可獲利。”

　他預計，馬大資訊工程可貢獻柏斯達亮2016財年淨利的25%至30%。

　他認為，馬大資訊工程將可提供穩定的經常收入，繼而提升公司整體的業務。

　“我們將持續保持現有的業務錄得雙位數成長，並將持續專注發展‘教育’這個事業。”

　他補充，隨著新單位（馬大資訊工程）的加入，他將確保股東的價值。

　“正如柏斯達亮向來營運模式，我們一直都發展賺幅好的事業，並持續以股息回饋股東。”

看来CEO对大学贡献盈利方面非常有信心. 如果可以贡献净利的30%的话, 那么2016DPS可能创高峰, 并且CEO还说会一直以股息回馈股东. 哇, 爽死我了! 哈哈~好消息啊~继续持有吧~没意外的话我会收好几年了..呵呵
